When data control is non-negotiable, the architecture is the answer.

A private engagement for families and principals who treat their data, their operations, and their succession with the seriousness they deserve. On-premise infrastructure, direct founder access, no public case studies.

Why this tier exists

Most AI consulting assumes you're willing to send your data into someone else's cloud.

For families managing significant wealth, multi-generational businesses, and operational complexity that doesn't appear in public filings, that assumption is incorrect. The data is not negotiable. The principals are not negotiable. The succession plan is not negotiable. Neither is the AI infrastructure that touches them.

The Family Office engagement exists because the standard AI consulting motion — a few discovery calls, a presentation deck, a vendor recommendation list, a quarterly check-in — does not meet the standard a serious family principal applies to every other professional relationship they maintain. The lawyer doesn't work this way. The accountant doesn't work this way. The architect of the family estate doesn't work this way. The AI integration partner should not work this way either.

What this engagement provides instead is infrastructure that stays in your building, architecture designed against your specific operational reality, and direct access to the operator who designed and deployed it. Not a vendor account manager. Not a junior consultant. The person whose name is on the practice.

What we deliver

A custom architecture, deployed on hardware that lives in your premises.

Every Family Office engagement begins with a private discovery meeting. This is not a sales call — it is a conversation between you and Ari Key, in person where possible, over secure channels otherwise. The objective is to understand whether the engagement is right for both sides. Many discovery conversations end without an engagement following, and that is correct. Not every situation needs what we build; not every family is comfortable with the operating discipline a sovereign AI deployment requires.

When an engagement proceeds, the deliverable is a custom architecture proposal describing the AI infrastructure, the data flows, the access controls, the redundancy posture, the audit trail, and the operational handoff. The proposal is yours regardless of whether you proceed to implementation — many principals review the document with their existing technology counsel before committing.

Implementation, when chosen, is on-premise. The hardware lives in your home, your office, or your estate. The AI models run locally. The retrieval-augmented generation runs locally. The audit logs are yours. Network connectivity to cloud AI services is optional, isolated, and explicit — never assumed, never default. For multi-property families, the architecture extends across locations through encrypted mesh networking that does not depend on third-party service availability.

For families thinking about generational wellness — personal health protocols, genetic data analysis, longevity planning — the same principle applies. Sensitive analysis lives on your hardware, accessible only to those you choose.

After deployment, quarterly visits handle architectural evolution, capability expansion, and any operational refinement. Between visits, you have direct contact for substantive questions. This is not a ticketing system relationship.

Who we work with

Families and principals for whom discretion is a default, not a feature.

Family Office engagements are referral-preferred. The reason is structural: this tier of work depends on trust that begins before the discovery call, and referral is the most reliable proxy for that trust. We accept direct applications when the situation warrants — applications go through the same private review process either way.

The principals we serve typically manage five million euros and above in directly-controlled assets, hold ownership of operating businesses, sit on family councils that span generations, or carry responsibility for technological decisions that touch family communication, family memory, family succession planning, and family-controlled operating concerns.

What unites them is not net worth — it is the shared understanding that the wrong AI infrastructure choice today becomes a liability they will be answering for in fifteen years. The right one becomes an instrument of continuity their grandchildren will inherit alongside the businesses, the relationships, and the values that built the family in the first place.

Direct founder access

At this tier, the operator is part of the product.

Family Office engagements are conducted personally by Ari Key, founder of MAKplanet. The architecture proposal is written by Ari. The on-site deployment is led by Ari. The quarterly visits are conducted by Ari. The first response to your substantive questions, between visits, comes from Ari.

This is the structural reason the tier exists at all. The principals who buy this engagement are buying a relationship with a specific operator — one with twenty thousand live sales conversations of calibration, four prior business chapters, and an active practice across the Baltic-Scandinavian region. Not a brand, not a team, not a process. A person, the architecture they design, and the hardware that runs it.

This also constrains capacity. The number of active Family Office engagements maintained at any time is deliberately small. When the practice is at capacity, new applications are reviewed and queued.

A note on discretion

No case studies. No publicity. No name-dropping.

Family Office engagements are not marketed. They do not appear on social media. They do not become testimonials. The fact of an engagement is itself private information, protected by the same confidentiality discipline that applies to the data the engagement handles.

When future principals ask "who else have you worked with," the answer is structured carefully: capabilities and architectural patterns can be discussed without identifying specific clients. Anonymised examples may be shared after explicit written permission. The defaults run in your direction, not toward our portfolio.

This is not a marketing choice. It is the operating posture the work requires.

Apply privately

A first message, written carefully, opens the conversation.

Family Office applications are reviewed personally. There is no form, no portal, no automated workflow — by design. A thoughtful first email reaches Ari Key directly and receives a thoughtful first reply, typically within two business days.

What to include in your first message

A substantive first email helps both sides decide whether the engagement is right. You do not need to disclose sensitive details at this stage — those follow under appropriate protection later. What helps now is a sketch of the situation.

Whether you are writing for yourself, on behalf of a family, or as a representative
The general scope of what you are considering AI integration for
Geographic context (which jurisdictions matter, where the data lives now)
How you came to MAKplanet — referral source, if applicable
Approximate timing of when you would want to begin discovery

If a referral source prefers to remain unnamed in the first email, that is acceptable — the practice respects that protocol entirely. Mention only that you are referred, and we can verify offline through the appropriate channel.
